The motive behind this curfew is to make people stay at home, so that wherever the virus is, it may succumb a natural death.

There are millions and millions of viruses in the animal world. Most of them have still not entered human beings. This one found its way from Wuhan, China. The cause of the rapid spread of Corona still seems to be unknown. Some sources claim it was because of the live food market in China that made this outbreak. Initially, we were made to believe that it was because of a lady enjoying bat soup that spread the virus. However, after some point of time, there were allegations stating Chinese government was busy creating a bio-weapon. Something went wrong during the research phase that lead to many people’s death.

It is hard to believe any information on Corona Virus, unless it is from World Health Organization (WHO). This pandemic has affected each and every profession globally. Although world-wide doctors have announced that we need not panic, looking at the number of fatalities there is surely worldly tension aroused all around. One good news is that the fatality rate is about 2 to 3%. Also, 85% of the affected people are senior citizens above the age of 65, who are already suffering from hypertension, diabetes, cholesterol, and other problems. These people have a low immune system, which is why it is difficult to treat them.

How to Stay Away from Corona Virus?

Covid 19 or Novel Corona Virus as it is popularly called has the tendency of spreading at a rapid rate. It spreads through droplets from a sick person to a healthy person. All of us might have heard this pretty often. Each and everybody asks us to wash our hands. We tend to come in contact with a lot of things during our daily routine. This virus being a droplet infection, spreads when we touch our eyes, face, nose and mouth. The virus enters the human body making us very sick. Therefore, it is a good practice to wash our hands using soap and water as frequently as possible. If we are at places where it is not possible to find soap and water, we must use alcohol based hand sanitizers. They kill the germs immediately. It is recommended to use sanitizers when we are outside our homes, else use a good soap when we are indoors.

Use a face mask

Although it is not mandatory to use a facemask, we need to understand who requires a face mask and how to use the same. Medical professionals such as doctors, nurses and others working in a hospital use medical masks to protect themselves from getting affected. Others who have a mild cough or cold can use a face mask so that they don’t spread the flu. However, if you are a healthy human being and do not suffer from any illness, you do not need a mask. Also, one needs to understand that masks have to be cleaned after evert 6 hours of use. Do not touch the mask from the front, instead just hold the side strings to wear and remove the mask. Holding the mask from the front increases the changes of contaminating it completely.

Stay indoors and avoid unnecessary travel

It has been proved that Corona Virus spreads at crowded places such as railway stations, airports, malls, theatres, etc. These are the most dangerous places to venture today. The best option is to stay indoors and stay healthy. Doctors at WHO claim that when you don’t come in contact with the virus for more than 12 to 24 hours, the virus automatically dies a natural death. The public at large is requested to work from home and stay at home as much as possible to avoid coming in contact with the infection.
